Green River Capital provides its clients the most efficient solutions to their REO needs, regardless of economic climate or market conditions. With the current challenges facing the mortgage industry with the wide spread increase in foreclosures, bank owned properties, and decrease in credit availability, many banks are now faced with large inventories of properties and increased loss severities.

In this current market, traditional REO servicing philosophy isn't providing the returns as it once did. Large inventories of new construction and existing home listings make for difficult competition for the large populations of REO properties. Banks and servicers alike are faced with working "outside of the box" to reduce loss severities, sale timelines, and increase cash flows on these properties.

Green River Capital offers an alternative solution to our clients during this current, difficult market. This alternative will not only provide monthly cash flows, but will insure that the property is preserved and maintained until the client wishes to sell the property or do a "Lease Purchase" with the tenants. This alternative is the rental of these REO properties in specific markets, until the market has turned around and is poised to provide better returns on sale.

Using our approved agent data base of over 5,000 agents, Green River has started this program with select clients in the Southern California Region. With the large amount of foreclosures, rentals have become a viable option for our banking clients.
